National Highways urged to stop using the word 'accident'

Last month Guidelines author, Laura Laker, wrote for Fleet News about growing calls for National Highways to stop using the word 'accident' on its overhead gantries and variable messaging signs.


The calls were supported by the AA, RoadPeace, PACTS, and the National Police Chiefs Council's Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox. You can read the piece here
